How to Enrich Your Morning Coffee

in Tips & Tricks

Every cup of coffee can be made tastier. Nothing feels better than a cup of hot coffee on a winter morning or afternoon. But since good things can always get better, we are showing you seven simple steps to help you discover some exciting new dimensions of coffee.

A grain of salt against the bitterness

Maybe it sounds a little crazy, but it is believed that salt particles somehow numb parts of tongue responsible for perceiving bitterness. If you are bothered by coffee’s bitterness, adding grain of salt to the cup will change your perspective of this restorative drink.

Add cinnamon properly

You already know that coffee with cinnamon tastes better, but as you probably find the fine powder disturbing, you don't add it regularly. Again, this can be changed. If you make filtered coffee sprinkle a little cinnamon on the filter paper and then pour in the appropriate amount of coffee. The result: a wonderful aroma, excellent taste, and no actual cinnamon dust on your tongue.

Use chocolate milk

Add it to your coffee, rather than your usual creamer. Believe me, it will change your world.

Enrich your coffee with milk foam

Note: You can make some surprisingly excellent milk foam the microwave. Pour a half a cups of whole milk into a sufficiently tall ceramic or glass container and heat in the microwave for one minute. Cover the dish with a lid and shake vigorously for approximately 20 seconds. The milk will be transformed into delightful foam.

Instant coffee mix with water first

If you are preparing instant coffee, first add just enough water to the granules to make a smooth paste. Only after that add the rest of the water. Your coffee will be tastier, and its texture more even.

Oats and coffee for breakfast

If you are one of those people who don’t take time for breakfast in the morning (which would of course be wise to change), add some oatmeal or other cereal to your cup of coffee in the morning. Not only by the taste but you will be surprised by the effect.

Cubes for iced coffee

Make ice cubes from milk and cookie crumbs. How? In a large bowl mix the milk with pieces of your favorite cookies. Using this mixture fill molds for ice cubes and put them in the freezer. When you’re in the mood for iced coffee, add a few cubes to the hot drink. This caffeinated dessert will pamper you and at the same time provide the power you need for new challenges.
